1. Introduction
Allcognix AI Technologies Pvt Limited (“we”, “our” or “us”) operates Atelier (“the Service”) — a design canvas where you describe a screen in a sentence and the Service draws it as real, editable layers you can then finish by hand.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we pass it to and what you can ask us to do with it. By creating an account or using Atelier you agree to the handling of information described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect four kinds of information from people who use the Service.
2.1 Account information
When you register or update your profile, we may collect:
- Name — your first and last name
- Email address — for sign-in, account recovery and support
- Company details — company name and business information, if you provide them
- Phone number and business address — if you provide them, or where they are needed for invoicing
2.2 Payment information
Subscriptions and credit packs are charged through our payment processors, Stripe and Razorpay, depending on your region and checkout method. That involves:
- Card details, entered into and held by the payment provider
- Billing address
- Payment history and transaction records
We never see or store your full card number. Card data is handled entirely by the processor under its own compliance regime. See Stripe’s privacy policy and Razorpay’s privacy policy.
2.3 Usage data
We record how the Service is used, which includes:
- IP address, device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- Pages opened and time spent on them
- Date and time of access, and referring addresses
- Credit consumption, generation counts and which editor features are used
2.4 Canvas content and AI generations
Using the canvas necessarily means we process the work you do in it:
- Briefs — the sentences and instructions you write to generate or alter a screen
- Documents — the frames, layers, text, geometry and camera state that make up each file you create
- Uploads — images, video and other media you drop onto the canvas
- Generated output — the layers the Service draws in response to your briefs
We do not train models on your work. Your briefs, documents and uploads are processed to run the Service, keep it working and support you — they are not used to train shared models offered to anyone else.
3. How we use your information
We use what we collect to:
- Provide, maintain and improve the canvas, the editor and export
- Turn your briefs into generated layers, by passing them to a model provider
- Process payments and manage your subscription, credits and account
- Answer support requests and send service notices about your account
- Detect, prevent and fix technical faults, abuse and security threats
- Meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
- Send marketing email, where you have consented and until you opt out
- Understand aggregate usage patterns so the product gets better
4. Sharing and disclosure
4.1 Payment processing
We pass billing information to Stripe and/or Razorpay so they can take payment. Each processor’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
4.2 AI and infrastructure providers
To generate a screen we transmit your brief, and the context needed to act on it, to third-party model providers — only as much as is required to answer that request. These providers are bound by their agreements with us and are not permitted to use your content to train general-purpose models for other customers.
4.3 Service providers
We rely on third parties to run the Service, including:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure
- Analytics and error monitoring
- Customer support tooling
- Email and notification delivery
Each is contractually required to protect your information and to use it only for the purpose we specify.
4.4 Legal requirements
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or in response to a valid request from a court or public authority.
4.5 Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the acquiring entity, which remains bound by this policy until it is superseded.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we use commercially reasonable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:
- Access — ask what we hold about you
- Correction — have inaccurate information fixed
- Deletion — ask us to erase your information
- Portability — receive your data in a transferable form
- Opt out — stop marketing email at any time
- Objection — object to particular kinds of processing
To exercise any of these, write to support@allcognix.com from the address on your account.
7. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes set out above, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information and your files, except where we are obliged to retain records for legal, tax or regulatory reasons.
8. International transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries other than the one you live in, whose data protection laws may differ from your own. Where we do this we put appropriate safeguards in place so your information keeps an adequate level of protection.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and where the change is significant we will tell you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy. Your use of Atelier is also governed by our Terms of Service.
